Registration is open for all House League Divisions as well as our Wrist and Snap Shot Training Program (see below for more details) and will open shortly for our Twisters Power Hockey School

Tentative Fundamentals, Tyke and House League Schedule   - Fundamentals starts Saturday, September 20, games for Tyke and House League commence Sunday, September 21.

Evaluations will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Milton Sports Centre - Pad A * Full equipment is required

  • Fundamentals and Tyke 9 to 10 am
  • Novice 1 to 3 pm (players will skate at 1pm or at 2pm  - you will be contacted to advise you of your time)
  • Atom 3 to 4 pm
  • Peewee 4 to 5 pm
  • Bantam 5 to 6 pm
  • Midget/Int 6 to 7 pm 

A coach will contact you about the evaluation skate by Friday, September 12.  If you have not heard from a coach by this date, please contact our administrator, Carolyn Tegelaar by email at or by telephone at 647-462-9578.

For young players new to hockey we offer two options, our Fundamentals Program (birth years 2006 to 2010) which focuses on individual skills, and new this year, our Tyke Program (birth years 2008 to 2010) which introduces team play on half ice. Choose one program, or both.

Fundamentals and Tyke Evaluations will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Milton Sports Centre - Pad A from 9 to 10 am

  • Fundamentals Program - Mold Masters, Georgetown on Saturdays at 11:30 am starting September 20 (two sessions to be held in Milton).
  • Tyke Program - Mold Masters, Georgetown on Sundays at 3:15 pm starting September 21 (any exceptions will be noted in the schedule when released)

 Wrist and Snap Shot Training

Want to improve your chances of scoring? We are offering Wrist and Snap Shot Training, a six week program with 1/2 hour training sessions with iTrain hockey instructors and a maximum 5:1 shooter to instructor ratio.   • Where - Acton Leisure Pad, Acton Arena
  • Times  - 6 to 6:30 pm; 6:30 to 7 pm or 7 to 7:30 pm
  • Session 1 Mondays Sept 8, 15, 22, 29 Oct 6, and 20 FULL
  • Session 2 Mondays Oct 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, 24, and Dec 1

House League & DS Coaching Applications 2014-2015 Season

The NHGHA is soliciting applications for head coaches interested in coaching North Halton Twisters House League (HL) and/or Development Stream (DS) teams for the 2014-2015 season. Qualified coaches are invited to submit an application of interest to the NHGHA by completing this electronic form before 6:00 pm on June 30, 2014. Application
